Description:

My client is an independent software vendor, founded in 2001. The company specialises in the provision of real-time, event-driven, enterprise-wide decision support solutions to the financial services market. The company delivers solutions in the areas of trading, risk management, product control, settlements and operations. Today my client is used by some of the world’s largest financial services companies to realise a real-time, consolidated view of their global business in one system.

The role entails New business development and sales of real-time, enterprise-wide decision support solutions to financial institutions. Responsibilities include the identification; qualification and contracting of new account relationships. In addition, the successful candidate will manage the sales process from initial client contact to implementation, and will be responsible for further developing each new account that is contracted.

 

Requirements:

You will be an experienced sales professional, currently selling into the investment banking market. You must be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of financial services, in particular, investment banking and asset management. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with strong sales skills and a good network in financial services that is looking to transition into product sales. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following;
• Experience in selling enterprise software solutions.
• Experience in successfully closing software solution deals in excess of £400K.
• Experience of operating at a senior level within your target market.
• Experience of selling to both IT and business representatives within your target market.
• Experience at working successfully in a complex decision making environment.
• Diligence at researching, planning and growing new business opportunities.
