My client operates one of the leading platforms for the electronic trading of corporate bonds and certain other types of fixed-income securities, through which more than 650 active institutional investment management clients can access the liquidity provided by 26 broker-dealers. Its multi-dealer trading platform allows institutional investors to simultaneously request executable and competitive bids or offers from multiple price-makers and to execute trades with the broker-dealer of their choice.
My client also provides data and analytics tools that help its clients make trading decisions as well as facilitating the trading process by electronically communicating order information between trading counter parties. The company was founded in the US in 2000 and opened its European office in 2001. Its global credit trading volumes for the first quarter of 2007 were US$104bn or approximately US$1.7bn per day.

 

The roles involve identifying, contacting, qualifying, on boarding and relationship managing institutional investment management clients including asset managers, banks and hedge funds. Ideal candidates should have a degree of experience in flow fixed income, be able to articulate a vision for electronic trading, sufficient motivation to work within a small team, a willingness to travel (c. 50%) and be fluent in English and at least one other major European language. E-commerce, ECN or OMS sales or relationship management experience and FSA registration strongly preferred
