My Client is a world-leading player in the rapidly expanding fields of "virtual prototyping" and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), providing engineering simulation software and services for analysis of fluid flow, heat transfer and electromagnetic radiation. Founded in 1988, their software is designed to be embedded deeply into the design process and used by mainstream design engineers, not just by analysis specialists.
This company is looking for an experienced sales person, preferably with industry experience. The role entails generating new sales leads using an array of means as well as maximising total sales revenues from existing customer accounts by making customers aware of and by selling new products throughout the UK and Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years sales experience, preferably in an engineering background, be able to demonstrate successful experience in a sales environment, proof of winning new business with the ability to manage pipeline from initial opening to business close. This person will be a confident business presenter, highly articulate, confident and not afraid of pushing to achieve a series of challenging targets. This candidate is an experienced business manager who can see market opportunities and develop sales solutions to fulfil client requirements. Formal sales training would be an advantage
The role will involve a mix between new business and account management, will be office based and the candidate will be expected to attend a number of new business and account-managed meetings per month.
